Mehr als 18.000 Teilnehmer beteiligten sich an der von Internetplattform "auto.de" durchgeführte Leserwahl "Germanys First Choice". Irmscher konnte auf Anhieb den 3. Rang in der Kategorie "Optik" erringen. Das ist die zweite Auszeichnung in 2009 für Irmscher. Bereits im Frühjahr wurde Irmscher als bester Opel Tuner anlässlich der Leserwahl des Motorpresseverlages "Best Brands" für die Qualität und das ansprechende Design seiner Produkte geehrt. Günther Irmscher sagte, anlässlich der im Rahmen der Essen Motor Show durchgeführten Verleihung: "ich bin stolz auf meine Mannschaft und betrachte diese Auszeichnung als Ansporn auch zukünftige Herausforderungen erfolgreich zu meistern".
