Es gibt auf dem Markt nur wenige lüfterlose Embedded Systemen, die eine leistungsfähige Intel i7/i5/ i3 Core CPU der zweiten Generation einsetzen. Dieser Markt ist nun um ein Produkt reicher geworden: Der Pipal 2311 ist ein multifunktionales System das nicht nur an Rechenleistung, sondern auch bei der sonstigen Ausstattung einiges mehr bietet als viele andere Embedded Computer auf dem Markt. Neben leistungsfähigen CPUs kann der Pipal mit bis zu 16GB DDR3 RAM ausgestattet werden. Zur Datenspeicherung stehen 2x 2.5" HDD SATA Drive Bays für 6G SATAIII HDDs, 1x eSATA und 1x CF Sockel zur Verfügung.
