Interoute, Betreiber eines der modernsten und dichtesten Sprach- und Datennetze in Europa, gibt die Verfügbarkeit des neuen europaweiten Multipoint-Ethernet-Services bekannt. Der Dienst bietet eine Netzwerk-Anbindung mit bis zu 10 GBit/s und ist in 61 Geschäftszentren verfügbar. Dies stellt das flächenmäßig größte Angebot von Multipoint Ethernet in Europa dar. Der Service bietet erhebliche Kosteneinsparungen für Unternehmen im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Punkt-zu-Punkt-Ethernet-Verbindungen, da einzelne lokale Zugangsknoten an den Hauptstandorten nicht mehr erforderlich sind. Mit dem neuen Service wird auch in der Unternehmenszentrale nur noch eine Zugangsleitung beziehungsweise ein Switch Port benötigt.

Der Multipoint-Ethernet-Service ergänzt das Portfolio an Metro- und Langstrecken-Ethernet-Lösungen von Interoute.
