For more than three years the EMF has called for reliable access to finance, support for sustainable and environmentally friendly technical solutions and an integrated industrial strategy for shipbuilding activities in Europe.
In a press conference following today's meeting of the EU Competitiveness Council, Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry Antonio Tajani answered that call, and announced a series of measures aimed at supporting Europe's ailing shipbuilding industry.
