Intel hat heute die neue Intel® Solid State Drive DC P3608 Serie vorgestellt. Die DC P3608 Serie ermöglicht Höchstleistungen im Data Center. Sie weist besonders geringe Latenzen auf und ist mit NVMe sowie acht PCI Express-Lanes ausgestattet. Dadurch eliminiert die neue SSD Serie Engpässe im High-Performance Computing (HPC), beschleunigt Datenbanken und ermöglicht es, vollkommen neue Geschäftserkenntnisse durch Datenanalyse in Echtzeit zu gewinnen. Die spezielle Architektur der DC P3608 Serie auf Basis eines NVMe Dual-Controllers erlaubt die effiziente Skalierung mit Intel® Xeon® Prozessoren bei einem Random Read IOPS Wert von 850.000 und einem Datentransfer von 5GB/s über die PCIe 3.0 x8 Uyhqhsmoiq.
