Bei den allgemeinen Jobbörsen konnten sich Stepstone, Jobware, Kalaydo und Stellenanzeigen.de durchsetzen. Der Wettbewerb erhöht die Transparenz im E-Recruiting Markt und dient Arbeitgebern und Bewerbern als Navigationshilfe. Als einziger Vergleich basiert "Deutschlands Beste Jobportale" dabei auf Beurteilungen von Jobsuchenden und Arbeitgebern, die in einem Gesamtranking zusammengefasst werden - mit faustdicken Überraschungen, harten Positionskämpfen und den üblichen Verdächtigen.
