Die Inotrade GmbH (www.inotrade.de) präsentiert auf der CeBIT die Crossbox, ein tragbares Gerät im Brieftaschenformat zum Datentransfer zwischen Windows-Rechnern einfach per USB-Kabel. Als Vertriebspartner in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz wird Inotrade die Crossbox zusammen mit JMTek-Netac, dem US-amerikanisch-chinesischen Hersteller der Crossbox, auf der CeBIT in Hannover vom 18.-24.03.2004 vorstellen (Halle 20, Stand A10). Die Crossbox ist das erste Datentransfergerät, das einfach im Plug-and-Play-Verfahren und völlig ohne Treibersoftware funktioniert. Die Crossbox wird einfach mit USB-Kabeln zwischen zwei Rechner gesteckt, und auf den beiden Bildschirmen erscheint ein Split Screen, der die Verzeichnisstrukturen der beiden verbundenen Rechner gleichzeitig anzeigt.
