Innovasic hat die innovative Verschlüsselungstechnologie "Transparent In-Line Encryption" (TILE™) in ihren Real-time Ethernet Multi-Protocol (REM) Switch fido5000 integriert. Die Lösung wurde mit einem Cyclone V FPGA von Altera realisiert.
Das TILE™-Modul des fido5000 REM Switch basiert auf der Encryption Engine SiMON, die von der US-Regierung entwickelt wurde. Das Modul sorgt für eine sichere Verschlüsselung, die vergleichbar mit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) ist. Zur Implementierung wird jedoch wesentlich weniger Siliziumfläche benötigt.
