Das RapID Platform EtherNet/IP Network Interface mit Beacon basiertem DLR von Innovasic hat den Konformitätstest der ODVA erfolgreich bestanden. Die Prüfung bestätigt, dass die Innovasic-Lösung Beacon-Raten hinunter bis zu 100 µs unterstützt. Die Fehlererkennung und -behebung (Fault Recovery) der Ring-Topologie erfolgt in weniger als 10 ms. Die Zugehörigkeit zum DLR-Ring ist für jeden Host-Prozessor bzw. jede Host-Anwendung, die mit der RapID-Plattform verbunden sind, transparent.

Wie alle Protokollversionen des Network Interfaces integriert die EtherNet/IP-Version mit DLR die PriorityChannel(TM) -Technologie von Innovasic. PriorityChannel eliminiert die Effekte der Netzwerkbelastung und stellt sicher, dass Echtzeit EtherNet/IP Messages zuverlässig abgearbeitet werden.
