Innovasic, ein führender Anbieter von Industrial Ethernet und deterministischen Ethernet Halbleiterlösungen, zeigt erstmals auf der embedded world ein schlankes Ethernet-Konzept. Das Ziel ist, Ethernet verstärkt in Netzwerken der Industrie, der Gebäudeautomatisierung, in den Bereichen Transportation und Automotive einzusetzen. Mit dem Ethernet-Konzept „Ethernet-Knoten geringer Komplexität“ von Innovasic lassen sich einfache Komponenten ohne Einsatz eines Prozessors direkt in ein Ethernet-Netzwerk einbinden, um die Verlustleistung, den Platzbedarf und die Kosten zu minimieren. Auf der Netzwerkseite kann ein schlanker Ethernet-Knoten an jedem 10/100/1000 Ethernet-Netzwerk teilhaben und parallel mit jedem anderen Industrial Ethernet-Protokoll arbeiten. Zukünftige Versionen werden die neuen Zwei-Draht Ethernet-Standards für die Prozessautomatisierung unterstützen
