High-speed, high-capacity storage is needed for 5G and AIoT applications. Consumer-grade products are not rugged enough for outdoor and industrial applications. Innodisk's new PCIe 4.0 SSDs have higher storage capacity compared to their PCIe 3.0 predecessor, are twice as fast, and are suitable for an extended temperature range. The new generation of industrial-grade PCIe 4.0 SSDs has a maximum capacity of 4 TB, and a transfer speed of 16 GT/s, which is double that of PCIe Gen3.
