PAMIRA (Packmittelrücknahme Agrar), das Entsorgungssystem für Pflanzenschutz- und Flüssigdünger-Verpackungen, ist in die Sammelsaison 2012 gestartet. An bundesweit über 300 Sammelstellen werden wieder kostenlos leere Pflanzenschutzmittel-Kanister, die das PAMIRA-Zeichen tragen, zurückgenommen und umweltgerecht entsorgt.

PAMIRA ist ein freiwilliges Rücknahmesystem, das Anfang der 1990er Jahre von den im Industrieverband Agrar e. V. (IVA) zusammengeschlossenen Herstellern von Pflanzenschutzmitteln und dem Handel entwickelt wurde. Seit 1996 wird das System bundesweit erfolgreich praktiziert. Heute werden über PAMIRA rund drei Viertel aller leeren Pflanzenschutzmittel-Verpackungen kontrolliert und sicher entsorgt.
