Neues Stellwerk in Wuppertal: Kein Schienenverkehr in den Oster- und Sommerferien

Die Deutsche Bahn baut in Wuppertal seit Jahren an einem neuen Elektronischen Stellwerk (ESTW). Um diese Bauarbeiten endlich abzuschließen ist es notwendig, Wuppertal in den Oster- und Sommerferien 2017 nahezu komplett vom Schienenverkehr abzukoppeln. In der Zeit von Freitag, 7. April (22 Uhr), bis Montag, 24. April (4 Uhr), sowie von Sonntag, 16. Juli, (22 Uhr) bis Mittwoch, 30. August (4 Uhr), wird der Schienenverkehr in Wuppertal eingestellt. Lediglich die Bahnstation Wuppertal-Oberbarmen kann aus Richtung Hagen angefahren werden und ersetzt für Fahrten Richtung Norden während der Streckensperrung den Hauptbahnhof.
