Neuer IHK-Präsident wird im Dezember gewählt

Ingo Mayer tritt Ende 2007 von seinem Amt zurück

Der Präsident der Industrie- und Handelskammer (IHK) Offenbach am Main Ingo Mayer hat bei der letzten Sitzung der IHK-Vollversammlung am 30. Mai 2007 seinen Rücktritt für Dezember 2007 bekannt gegeben.

"Ich habe ja nie einen Hehl daraus gemacht, dass ich meine zweite Wahlperiode nicht komplett bekleiden werde. Nun wird es langsam Zeit das ,Versprechen' wahr zu machen", erklärte Mayer schmunzelnd. Mayer ist seit 11. Mai 2000 Präsident der Offenbacher IHK und seit 1976 Mitglied der Vollversammlung.

Das Präsidium wird bis zur Weihnachtsvollversammlung am 4. Dezember 2007 einen Nachfolger vorschlagen, der dann den Mitgliedervertretern zur Wahl gestellt wird. Die
