Mit Wirkung zum 1. Oktober hat die HORN GmbH & Co. KG, eine der ältesten INDUS-Beteiligungen, das Unternehmen Pneumatic Components Limited (PCL), mit Sitz in Sheffield, Großbritannien, übernommen. PCL ist weltweit Marktführer bei analogen und digitalen Systemen in der Reifenfülltechnik und angrenzenden Gebieten; neben der Unternehmenszentrale in Sheffield existieren weitere Niederlassungen in den USA, Indien und China. Für 2011 erwartet PCL 12,0 Mio. Euro Umsatz bei einer Beschäftigung von weltweit rund 120 Mitarbeitern. Der bisherige Eigentümer, hatte das Unternehmen 1996 übernommen.

Zum 1. November erwirbt HORN zudem den Geschäftsbereich Tankwagenmesstechnik der Bonndorfer Hectronic GmbH. Dieser Geschäftsbereich entwickelt und produziert Systeme
