Inca to launch new eight-color Inca Spyder 320-8 Series at ISA 2007
Flexibility has contributed to the popularity of the Spyder 320 product line. Since May 2005, Inca Digital has successfully introduced a number of Spyder 320 digital flatbed printer models, including the original 4 color Spyder 320, the low-cost alternative Spyder 320-e, and Spyder 320+ white and six color versions. The modular design of the Spyder 320 range allows users to select the specification of their Inca Spyder printer to suit their business needs or growth plans.
The latest edition, the Spyder 320-8 Series, adds even more flexibility. The Spyder 320-8 Series was developed to provide printers greater choice of ink colors, as well as being able to match more special colors-along with white. With eight ink modules, each consisting of four Spectra inkjet heads, the Spyder 320-8 Series provides a wide color gamut. Initially, the printer will be available with the four process color inks (CMYK), as well as light cyan, light magenta, and two units of white (overprint, underprint, or spot color layers), to ensure maximum ink coverage and print speed. Unlike some white inks Fujifilm Sericol Uvijet white ink is bright white with a high level of opacity and adhesion.
Aimed at the mid-range market and competitively priced, the Spyder 320-8 Series continues to deliver Inca's proven performance and outstanding print quality with a vibrant matte finish. The new model has the characteristic small Spyder footprint, moving print carriage and a full-size 126-inch x 63-inch static vacuum bed with highly accurate pin registration, sharp image resolution and crisp text. Its impressive productivity rate, printing at up to 860 sqft /hr, also delivers optimum production performance at 699 sqft /hr.

Alongside the Inca Spyder, Inca Digital and Fujifilm Sericol will showcase the Inca Columbia Turbo. First launched in 2004 and still the world's fastest digital UV flatbed printer, the Columbia Turbo prints onto rigid or flexible material up to 1.57" thick and 126" x 63" in size, producing high quality, repeatable results at speeds up to 1,720 sqft/hr. Its economical performance makes it ideal for a wide range of applications including large format advertising, signage and exhibition graphics printing. The Columbia Turbo-and Spyder 320-uses Fujifilm Sericol Uvijet inks that provide an ultra-wide gamut using automotive grade pigments with the highest light fastness rating to ensure print longevity. The Uvijet ink system is designed to print onto almost anything from paper to board to a wide range of plastics using Inca proven technology to control droplet formation and accuracy.
With a wide range of applications covered between the Inca Spyder 320-8 Series and Columbia Turbo, visitors to the Fujifilm Sericol booth will be able to view systems capable of cost-effectively printing the finest sign, display and exhibition materials.
