At Graph Expo (Chicago, 15-18 October 2006) Inca Digital shows how the quality and performance of its large format flatbed digital UV printers can bring important business benefits to both commercial and specialist display print operations. Two large format digital flatbed UV printers - the Inca Spyder 320 and the Inca Columbia Turbo - will be demonstrated by exclusive distributor Fujifilm Sericol on stand 4468, featuring the latest ink technology from the Uvijet ink family.

Inca Spyder 320
The Inca Spyder 320 is Inca Digital's best-selling printer to date and is in a class of its own with its mix of speed, quality and price. The Spyder 320 system uses an Inca print module jetting the smallest drops in its class to provide crisp print quality with genuine production performance at 600 sq.ft/hr. A variety of configurations are available: a four-color, a six-color and a low cost model, as well as the new white version. The modular approach of the Spyder range allows users to modify the specification of their Inca Spyder printer to suit changing business needs or growth and opens up new markets in additional applications. Inca will demonstrate the latest version of its SpyderRun software that provides the top speed of 860 sq.ft/hr an hour.

The flatbed design of the Spyder 320 features a dedicated 63" x 126" vacuum table, pin registration system and precise drop placement allowing lenticular printing for example to be achieved with ease. The efficient and high quality output is ideal for short run length digital applications and makes the Inca Spyder an ideal printer to complement conventional screen and offset print technologies.

Inca Columbia Turbo
Alongside the Inca Spyder, Inca Digital will showcase the Inca Columbia Turbo at Graph Expo. First launched in 2004 and still the world's fastest digital UV flatbed printer. The Columbia Turbo prints onto rigid or flexible material up to 40mm thick and 126" x 63" in size, producing high quality, repeatable results at speeds up to 1,720 sqft/hr. The benefits of digital printing with no time consuming set up, no plates or screens allows cost-effective print runs as low as one, if required Inca printers lay down onto the substrate 98% of ink put into the machine since it does not require regular purging which is common in inkjet printer manufacture and wastes ink. Its economical performance makes it ideal for a wide range of applications including large format advertising, signage and exhibition graphics printing.

The Columbia Turbo uses Fujifilm Sericol Uvijet inks that provide an ultra-wide gamut using automotive grade pigments with the highest light fastness rating to ensure print longevity. The Uvijet ink system is designed to print onto almost anything from paper to board to a wide range of plastics using Inca proven technology to control droplet formation and accuracy.
