Imtech: 142 million euro orders in German ICT market

New German ICT orders
Recently, Imtech (FRITZ & MACZIOL group) won several German orders regarding total ICT solutions from one point of contact (software, hardware and IT-services) in the fields of Dynamic Infrastructure (DI), Virtualization, Social Software, Business Intelligence (BI) and Managed Services. These orders were obtained cross-industry, e.g. in the sectors Industry & Engineering, Automotive, Electro & Aerospace, Banking, Data Centres, Energy, Public and Trade, Life Sciences & Consumer Products. Orders were obtained amongst others from Altana, Monier Group, Globus Fachmärkte, Phoenix Pharmahandel, MTU Aero Engines, Merck Finck & Co oHG Privatbankiers, SCHÜCO International, ekom21 and KIRU/IIRU for IT solutions in data centres, the city of Ludwigshafen, Aqua Römer and IT solutions for power plants in Bielefeld and Munich.
ICT: key factor
ICT has become a key factor in today's society and is a supporting factor for most technical innovations. Consequently, ICT is increasingly playing an important role in Imtech's total solutions approach. On the German ICT market Imtech is represented by its ICT company FRITZ & MACZIOL group. This Imtech company, also active in Switzerland and Asia, is one of the larger German ICT companies and offers a broad portfolio of services mainly for medium-sized organisations, companies, local authorities and public institutions. Out of 15 offices hardware and software projects are carried out. Intensive co-operation with world-market leaders IBM, Microsoft and SAP makes high added value possible.
Imtech ICT focus
Imtech's activities concentrate on the core areas of ICT infrastructure, ERP solutions, tailor-made software, business intelligence, consultancy and managed services and (additional) ICT services. Customers can approach Imtech not only for hardware (for example IBM Systems and Storage), but also for software (including databases, IT-management, IBM Software, Microsoft and SAP) and related IT services, e.g. managed services based on individual service level agreements (SLA).
Total ICT solutions: key to success
Customers need a clear vision of the added value of ICT. Business processes need to be more efficient and effective, while costs and risks get reduced and information provision gets improved. Furthermore, the co-operation between businesses and organisations can be more optimised. The Internet, of course plays a crucial role.
