CMYK Optimizer ist ein System für die automatische Analyse von PDF- Druckdaten sowie deren automatisierte farbliche Anpassung und die drucktechnische Optimierung für die geplanten Druckbedingungen. Mit seinen, auf Grund einer eingehenden Dateianalyse dynamisch erstellten DeviceLink- Profilen, dient CMYK Optimizer als kompletter Farbserver. Er übernimmt die Prozess-Konvertierung, die Begrenzung des maximalen Farbauftrags, die Anpassung von Tonwertzuwächsen für unterschiedliche Papiere oder die Reseparation von Daten hinsichtlich der Druckstabilisierung und zur Einsparung von Druckfarben.

Die Neuerungen in Version 3.8 umfassen:

- Neue Funktion zum Backup und Wiederherstellen von Einstellungen
- Neue, Separate RGB- und CMYK-Einstellungen
- Neu Option: Preserve Overprints Sensitive (Purity-Tab) zur Kontrolle des
