Die SBB vergibt die Ausbauarbeiten für die Doppelspur zwischen Zug Oberwil und Walchwil sowie die Sanierung der Strecke Zug-Arth-Goldau an die ARGE ZUGO. Die Arbeitsgemeinschaft besteht aus Marti AG (Federführung), Walo Bertschinger AG, Anliker AG sowie Implenia, je mit einem 20%-Anteil. Darüber hinaus sind Porr Suisse AG und Frutiger AG zu je 10% an der ARGE ZUGO beteiligt. Auf Implenia entfällt demnach eine Auftragssumme von rund CHF 20 Mio.

Auf einer Länge von 1,7 km wird die heutige Einspurstrecke abgebrochen und von einer neuen Doppelspur ersetzt.
