Die Geringe Leistungsaufnahme von nur 12W für den Betrieb mit IEEE802.3af PoE (Power over Ethernet) wird durch den stromsparenden Intel® Z530 Prozessor erreicht. In Verbindung mit einem geeigneten PoE Switch ergibt sich nicht nur der Vorteil der einfachen Verkabelung (nur Ethernetkabel), sondern auch der Fernsteuerung (Ein-/Ausschalten) und der Fehlermeldung (Disconnected).
