IAR Systems has been Named Finalist in the 2010 EDN Innovation Awards Competition for Power Debugging Technology

Uppsala, Sweden. IAR Systems® today announced that it was named a finalist in EDN's 21st annual Innovation Awards Competition in the software category for Power Debugging Technology. IAR Systems was selected as a finalist due to its enhanced feature of power debugging technology in IAR Embedded Workbench®. The power debugging technology feature created by IAR Systems samples the momentary current drawn by the system and feeds it to a power debug API where it is synchronized with the time-stamped debug information which includes the microcontroller's program counter; this connects power consumption directly to the source code.
