Die Human Solutions GmbH, Kaiserslautern, hat mit MIRALab einen namhaften Referenzkunden in der Schweiz gewinnen können: Die Forschungseinrichtung der Universität Genf zählt zu den weltweit renommiertesten Instituten im Bereich Menschsimulation und Computergrafik. Künftig wird der 3D-Bodyscanner des Typs VITUS/Pro bei der Erzeugung von individuellen Avataren, also von lebensechten digitalen Abbildern, eingesetzt. Ziel ist es, die Avatare u.a. für die realistische Bekleidungssimulation einzusetzen, so dass der Kunde direkt am Bildschirm entscheiden kann, wie gut ihm Farbe, Schnitt und Stoff stehen.
