Fachhochschul-Konsortium schließt Kooperationsvertrag mit der University of Pittsburgh

Ende Juni unterzeichneten ein aus sieben Fachhochschulen bestehendes Konsortium - bestehend aus den FH's Berlin (Wirtschaft), Bremen, Hamburg, Köln, München, Münster und Osnabrück - und die University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (USA), ein Abkommen über den Austausch von Studierenden. Wesentliches Ziel des Vertrags ist, das curriculare und interkulturelle Angebot für Studierende und aus beiden Ländern zu erweitern. Das Hochschul-Konsortium (und insbesondere die Hochschule Bremen) wurden von deren Rektor Dr. habil. Elmar Schreiber vertreten. Die sieben Fachhochschulen firmieren unter dem Kürzel "UAS 7", abgeleitet von der englischen Übersetzung des Begriffes Fachhochschule: German Universities of Applied Sciences.
