Die bayerischen Hochschulen für angewandte Wissenschaften gewinnen weiter an Attraktivität. Im Wintersemester 2012/2013 sind über 100.000 Studierende an ihnen eingeschrieben. "Erstmals überhaupt in der Geschichte der Hochschulen für angewandte Wissenschaften studieren mehr als 100.000 junge Menschen an unseren Hochschulen", freut sich Prof. Dr. Michael Braun, Vorsitzender von Hochschule Bayern und Präsident der Georg-Simon-Ohm-Hochschule Nürnberg. Die Hochschulen für angewandte Wissenschaften verzeichnen aber nicht nur Rekordstudierendenzahlen. Bemerkenswert ist, dass sie sich bei den Studienanfängern sogar auf dem hohen Vorjahresniveau bewegen, das durch den doppelten Abiturjahrgang gekennzeichnet war.
