Ein Gateway für alle industriellen Ethernet-Protokolle

Das Gateway NT 151-RE-RE erweitert Hilscher’s Gateway-Produktreihe um einen Umsetzer, der E/A-Daten zwischen zwei beliebigen industriellen Ethernet Netzwerken konvertiert. Insgesamt werden 34 verschiedene ladbare Protokollkombinationen für die Systeme PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, POWERLINK und Sercos in Slave zu Slave oder Slave zu Master-Kombination unterstützt.

Zwei Netzwerk-Controller im Gerät trennen beide Netzwerke physisch und handeln die Protokolle unabhängig voneinander ab. Ein gemeinsamer Speicher dient zur Datenübergabe der zyklischen E/A-Daten, wobei hierbei ein beliebiges E/A-Datenmapping durchführbar ist. An der Geräteober- und -unterseite befindet sich jeweils eine Dual-Ethernet-Buchse mit Switch-Funktion, was die Realisierung von Stern, Ring sowie auch Linien-Netzwerktopologien für jede Netzwerkseite ermöglicht.
