Der Mini DisplayPort & USB Audio (Stereo) zu HDMI Adapter vereint Ton & Bild in einem Anschluss. Damit ist es möglich, Geräte mit HDMI Eingang wie z.B. Flachbildfernseher oder Beamer mit nur einem Kabel zur Video- und Audiowiedergabe direkt mit den aktuellen Macs (Mac mini, MacBook, MacBook Pro) zu nutzen. Am Mac erfolgt die Videoausgabe via Mini DisplayPort (bis 1080p) und die Tonausgabe via USB2.0 in Stereo. Im Adapter werden beide Quellen zu einem HDMI1.3b Ausgang zusammengefasst.
