Hellmann Worldwide Logistics remodels its German national organization

Osnabrueck, (PresseBox) - Matthias Magnor (41) assumes the function of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and thus the management of the new German national organization at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. He has been with the company for 12 years, has a wide range of management experience, and has most recently served as CEO of a Hellmann Worldwide Logistics subsidiary in Cologne. Measured by the number of employees and sales volume, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Germany is considered the most significant national organization in the worldwide network of Hellmann.

The Air & Sea Division in the German organization is not affected by this change and is thus still headed by Andreas Kujawski, who reports to the Regional Director Europe Air- & Seafreight, Jens Tarnowski.

In addition to the appointment of Matthias Magnor, the divisions below the CEO are also redistributed. There will be four main divisions, which shall reflect the overall operational and sales structure. The positions were filled by veteran Hellmann executives.

The new management team in Germany is composed of Matthias Magnor (Chief Executive Officer), Kai Hasenpusch (Chief Commercial Officer), René Stocker (Chief Operating Officer Road & Rail), Wilfried Hesselmann (Chief Operating Officer CEP), and Stefan Porcher and Detlev Hornhues (Chief Operating Officers Contract Logistics). While Porcher is responsible for business development in the Contract Logistics area, Hoernhues will concentrate on production monitoring, including implementation and management of the Contract Logistics branches. The restructuring allows the responsibilities of the COO, for their respective divisions, to be precise and unequivocal. At the same time, the Courier, Express and Parcel (CEP) divisions, including Contract Logistics are hierarchically revalued.

Under the supervision of the CCO, the key account management will be consistently expanded with industry focus. The already internationally successful strategy of the industry focus has found its equivalent in the German national organization.
