Hamburg@work lässt Gründern und StartUp-Unternehmen noch bis zum 7. Oktober Zeit, sich für den Webfuture Award 2011 zu bewerben. Damit wird die Einreichungsphase um eine Woche verlängert. Mit dem Wettbewerb zeichnet die Initiative für Medien, IT und Telekommunikation die besten StartUp-Ideen des Nordens aus und bietet engagierten Jungunternehmern eine Plattform. Gesucht werden Geschäftsideen in den Bereichen eCommerce, Web 2.0 und Social Communities. Neben wertvollen Kontakten zu anerkannten eCommerce Experten aus der Fachjury erhält der Sieger ein Preisgeld in Höhe von 10.000 Euro sowie eine Sicherheitsprüfung der Website durch SEC-Consult.

Der Internet-Gründerpreis wird bereits zum fünften Mal von Hamburg@work vergeben. Im
