Hamamatsu Photonics stellt eine neue Serie von Quantum Cascade DFB Lasern vor. Die neue L10195 Serie ist standardmäßig mit zwei optionalen Wellenlängen, 7.7 ?m (L10195-01) und 5.2 ?m (L10195-02) verfügbar. Die typische Ausgangsleistung liegt bei 15 mW. Der Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) ist der einzige Halbleiterlaser im mittleren Infrarotbereich, der bei Raumtemperatur unter Benutzung eines Peltierkühlers verwendet werden kann.

Die L10195 Serie zeichnet sich durch die enge spektrale Linienbreite aus. Die Wellenlänge des Quantum Cascade Lasers ist über das Ändern der Chip Temperatur in einem breiten Bereich abstimmbar. Deshalb zählt die L10195 Serie zu der neusten Generation von Infrarot Lasern
