Deutsche Börse’s cash markets generated a turnover of €152.20 billion in May (previous year: €114.19 billion / previous month: €188.40 billion).

€148.66 billion were attributable to Xetra (previous year: €111.06 billion / previous month: €183.83 billion), bringing the average daily Xetra trading volume to €7.08 billion (previous year: €5.05 billion / previous month: €9.19 billion). Trading volumes on Börse Frankfurt were €3.54 billion (previous year: €3.13 billion / previous month: €4.57 billion).

By type of asset class, equities accounted for €124.03 billion in the entire cash market. Trading in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs generated a turnover of €26,61 billion. Turnover in bonds was
