Goldhofer Selbstfahrer vom Typ PST/SL im erfolgreichen Einsatz

Insgesamt 7 Reaktorkessel für eine Raffinerieanlage hatte der Schwerlastspezialist Mammoet von Houston nach Pasadena/TX in eine Ethylen Anlage zu transportieren. Die aus Spanien eintreffenden Kessel wurden im Hafen von Houston/TX umgeschlagen und auf eine Goldhofer-Nachläuferkombination mit Selbstfahrern geladen. Zum Einsatz kamen dabei 48 der bewährten Schwerlastachslinien vom Typ PST/SL und THP/SL. Diese wurden in Parallelkombinationen (1+1) mit je 24 Achslinien und einem Drehschemel mit 300t angeordnet. „Wir haben uns für diese Kombination entschieden, da wir aufgrund der Breite und Länge der rund 60 m langen Kessel sehr herausfordernde Straßenverhältnisse vorfinden.
