GK Software Launches GetMyGooods App to Safely Provide Products to Customers

Given the current climate, customers and retailers are working to limit the time spent in stores in order to keep employees and shoppers safe. To support this effort, GK Software SE has developed GetMyGooods, an app that is easy to operate and designed for immediate use by eliminating the need for technical integration into existing systems.
The GetMyGooods App offers a comprehensive solution where shoppers can order the products they need from their mobile device. Their shopping list is sent directly from the app to the retailer, where associates prepare the order in store. Once ready, the shopper is notified and they can pick up their order immediately from the store, paying on-site. This eliminates the need to spend time in the store and helps ensure the products they want are in stock before leaving their home. At the same time, the number of interactions between sales staff and customers is massively reduced.
Retailers looking to offer this increased level of customer service can begin using GetMyGooods immediately after registration. Customer orders are received by e-mail, and the retailer app is available to confirm orders that are ready for pickup.
German grocer EDEKA Simmel is the first to provide the GetMyGooods service to its customers, across all 21 Simmel stores in Bavaria and Saxony.
The GetMyGooods App is available for free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Retailers can also register at http://www.getmygooods.de/. Use of the app is free of charge until further notice.
