Die neue Prozesssonde SAC 8000 aus dem Hause GIMAT misst den spektralen Absorptionskoeffizienten (SAK) bei 254 nm. Der SAK dient als Maß für den Gehalt an organischen Inhaltsstoffen wie z. B. CSB. Aufgrund ihres großen Messbereiches ist die Sonde SAC 8000 für eine Vielzahl von Anwendungen in der Trink-, Oberflächen- und Abwasser-Überwachung geeignet.

Die Sonde SAC 8000 wird ohne Probenahme einfach in das Medium eingetaucht. Eingebaut im Gerinne oder Becken liefert das Meßsystem SPECTRO-CONT sekundenschnell den aktuellen CSB-Wert.

Das reagenzienfreie, rein physikalische Messverfahren liefert hierbei zuverlässige Messwerte bei ausgesprochen geringen Betriebskosten.
