Nach einem Jahr Entwicklungsarbeit steht nun eine neue Generation von stationären Straßenwettersensoren aus dem Hause Lufft bereit. Der StaRWIS, der mit einem Messabstand von 5,5 Metern über der Straße installiert wird, basiert auf einer preisgekrönten und innovativen LED-Technologie. Diese kommt bereits beim mobilen Sensor MARWIS zum Einsatz. Nachdem Lufft 2011 mit dem NIRS31 den ersten berührungslosen Straßensensor vorstellte, setzt das Unternehmen nun konsequent die Entwicklung dieser Technologie fort.

Beim einfach zu installierenden und kompakten StaRWIS handelt es sich um einen neuen stationären Sensor für Straßenwetter-Informationssysteme. Dieser basiert auf einem berührungslosen, spektroskopischen Messprinzip.
