Maximale Verfügbarkeit und hohe Zuverlässigkeit für kritische Anwendungen auf Schienenfahrzeugen zeichnen das neue CANopen I/O Modul des Elektronikspezialisten LÜTZE, Weinstadt aus. Kommunikationsstörungen auf dem CAN Bus, selbst ein Aderbruch im Buskabel werden durch den redundanten Bus nach CiA DS 302-6 abgefangen.

Auch im Ausgangskreis wurde von den LÜTZE Ingenieuren höchster Wert auf Zuverlässigkeit gelegt. Jede Ausgangsgruppe besteht darum aus zwei Ausgängen und einer zusätzlichen gemeinsamen Abschaltung. Bei einem Defekt an einem der Ausgangstransistoren wird die gesamte Gruppe abgeschaltet. Damit es zu einem solchen Defekt jedoch nicht kommt, sind alle Ausgänge kurzschlussfest und thermisch überwacht.
