FICO Announces Plans to Acquire Adeptra

(PresseBox) ( Minneapolis, Minnesota, )
Today we announced our plans to acquire Adeptra, a leader in cloud-based customer engagement and risk intervention solutions based in Reading, UK, and Norwalk, Connecticut. The transaction is expected to be completed next month.

This acquisition advances FICO's ability to help you compete and grow in the mobile economy. Adeptra offers a proven SaaS (software as a service) platform that enables organizations to communicate with customers and resolve issues in real time, using voice, SMS, mobile applications, email and other channels. With Adeptra's technology and FICO's decision management applications, you can seamlessly turn decisions into actions that improve fraud protection, loss mitigation and collections, while improving customer service.

FICO has had a successful relationship with Adeptra going back to 2002, and we have been an Adeptra reseller since 2007. Several global banks have cut their fraud losses by integrating FICO Falcon Fraud Manager with Adeptra solutions. Adeptra's SaaS platform offers flexibility, fast implementation times and efficient design and deployment of multi-channel customer interactions, while Adeptra's high-performance software can handle thousands of transactions per second.

Adeptra CEO Tony McGivern and I are very excited about uniting our companies in order to bring you even greater value. FICO has always focused on improving the quality of business decisions. With the addition of Adeptra, we can help you improve the execution of those decisions, offering unprecedented, full-cycle decision management, and fortifying the link between smarter decisions and better business results.
