Das Thema Energieeffizienz erreicht im Zuge von Klimaschutz und Anpassungsstrategien zum Klimawandel einen immer höheren Stellenwert. Gleichzeitig entstehen, z. B. in Folge steigender sommerlicher Temperaturen, neue Anforderungen an die Klimatisierung und Kühlung von Gebäuden. Innovative Technologien in Kombination mit der Betriebs- und Regenwassernutzung ermöglichen hierzu neue Synergiepotentiale.

Neben der Verwendung von Regenwasser in Kühltürmen sind in jüngster Zeit neue Techniken zur Nutzung der Verdunstungskälte, wie bei adiabatischen Kühlsystemen und Techniken der Bauwerksbegrünung entwickelt und erprobt worden.

Im Rahmen der fbr-Fachtagung informieren die Referenten über Grundlagen, Stand der Technik und Entwicklungstendenzen bei der energetischen Nutzung von Regenwasser.
