Tourismusverband Thüringer Wald/ Gothaer Land plant ein Wegleitsystem mit QR-Codes

Die Fachhochschule Schmalkalden führt derzeit die weltweit größte QR-Code-Studie im Tourismus durch. Ein neuer Kooperationspartner im Rahmen dieser Studie ist der Tourismusverband Thüringer Wald/Gothaer Land e. V., der die gesamte Fläche des Landkreises Gotha mit rund 936 km² betreut.

QR-Codes werden mit der Kamera eines Smartphones abfotografiert und entschlüsselt. Anschließend werden die zugehörigen Informationen auf dem Display dargestellt. QR steht für Quick Response und bedeutet schnelle Antwort. Der Nutzer erhält so auf sehr zügige und einfache Art Informationen über Sehenswürdigkeiten, Lehrpfade, Aussichtspunkte, Wanderwege, gastronomische Einrichtungen, Unterkünfte oder auch besondere Pflanzen.
