Auf den weiteren Ausbau der interkulturellen Zusammenarbeit verständigte sich FH-Rektor Prof. Dr. Klaus Niederdrenk mit seinem koreanischen Amtskollegen Prof. Dr. Sang-Jun Shin während eines Besuchs der Duksung-Universität in Seoul. Beide Hochschulen haben in der Vergangenheit durch zahlreiche Treffen und gemeinsame Ausstellungen eine Brücke zwischen beiden Kontinenten geschlagen.
