Das österreichische Bundesministerium für Inneres (BM.I) migriert aktuell die Netzwerke und Rechenzentren der Polizei und Sicherheitsverwaltung in acht Bundesländern sowie an zwei Standorten in Wien auf eine einheitliche Server- und Netzwerkarchitektur. Die BlackDiamond-Switches bilden jeweils den lokalen Backbone der Rechenzentren, während die Summit-Switches für die performante Anbindung von Servern sowie iSCSI-NAS-Systemen zum Einsatz kommen.
