In Zusammenarbeit mit den Softwarespezialisten HTTV, MIT-xperts und dem Hardware-Hersteller KAON bietet der KabelKiosk eine speziell für die IPTV/OTT-Plattform meinFernsehen konzipierte Set Top Box an. Die MF-1 genannte Box läuft mit HbbTV kompatibler Software und wird derzeit erstmals auf der ANGA COM 2014 in Köln vorgestellt. Mit ihr stehen lineare und nichtlineare Angebote bereit. Dazu zählen: Rund150 IPTV-Sender, davon 50 Sender in höchster HD Qualität, Video on Demand, Restart- und Replay- Funktionen sowie der Zugang zu News, Infos und Mediatheken.

HbbTV und IPTV fanden bisher nicht zusammen. Die IPTV-Plattform meinFernsehen unterstützt dank des HTTV Hybrid TV Betriebssystems erstmalig den
