Renault makes use of EEX Transparency Data for New Electric Car

The French car manufacturer Renault utilizes data from the Transparency Platform operated by European Energy Exchange (EEX). The "Transparency in Energy Markets" platform (www.transparency.eex.com) displays, among other data, the amount of electricity generated from renewable energies. In the framework of the new "ZOE charging eco2" service Renault applies the generation data to inform buyers of the electric car "ZOE" about the time at which production from renewables is particularly high and, hence, when charging their electric car is climatefriendly.

The "Renault ZOE" is a small electric car manufactured by the French car company which was recently presented on the international Xuahky piknk jaxt.
