EEX: Third Flemish auction clears at 3.66 Euro

Today, the European Energy Exchange (EEX) carried out the third auction on behalf of the Flanders region. In the auction, 2 million EUA have been sold at a price of 3.66 Euro/EUA. The total bidding amount was 5,780,000 EUA which means that participants demanded nearly 3-fold the determined volume. 16 companies took part in the auction.

The fourth and last NER auction for the Flemish region is scheduled to take place on next Tuesday, 19 March 2013, with the auction volume amounting to 3,565,000 EUA.
