For just two years now the SGF compiled a "SGF-Control-Code-Tank-Cleaning" for the cleaning of fruit juice-transport containers in a working group.

"In the course of the common work, to the representative of all affected branches, like the operators of cleaning stations, transportation companies, carriers and receivers of fruit juice products, national and european tank cleaning associations, as well as the international association ENFIT are involved, we found out that SGF and ENFIT pursue the same aims: Providing standardized and obliging cleaning procedures for the fruit juice industry and to move them internationally", according to Philipowski, president of the association ENFIT.

"So it was only logical for us that we bundle up our energy - then ENFIT has begun already in 2008 to compile standardised cleaning procedures for all food to which of course also fruit juices belong. The common line and the correspondence in many penetrating questions were to be recognised quite early in the SGF working group and led to the fact that both associations had the idea - together we can reach more - allowed to flow in cooperation. Today fruit juices, concentrates and a lot of other food are products which are transported worldwide. Who wants to guarantee food safety in the Supply-Chain, must think worldwide and also act", says Philipowski.

It is designated, that ENFIT and SGF qualify after a common certification procedure. ENFIT uses its cleaning expert's assessment and SGF brings its experiences from the global quality assurance.

Today, regardless of the common future certification procedure with the SGF, ENFIT already has the first cleaning stations in Germany certified: Lettl Transporte GmbH in Wasserburg, PS-Truck Wash GmbH in Holdorf, and in Spain, Josep M. Jordana S.L in Tarrega, all with the ENFIT HQF stamp of quality' BASIC-QUALITY-CLEANING'. As a proof of the special qualification these cleaning stations issue the internationally approved ENFIT-ICD-INTERNATIONAL-CLEANING-DOKUMENT.

The company Schulze Food Liquid Services GmbH in Wustermark, has received as the first cleaning station of Germany the' ENFIT HQF certificate' and the' EXCELLENT-QUALITY-CLEANING' stamp of quality and belongs with it to the absolute top-cleaning stations in Europe. As quality assessment this cleaning station may issue the internationally approved ENFIT-ICC-INTERNATIONAL-CLEANING-CERTIFICATE.

A positive development which will cost though a bit more money for the cleaning of the food-transport containers, but will also be worthwhile by obliging and reliable standards for consumers, industry and cleaning stations.
