Die EMS-Gruppe, die in den Geschäftsbereichen Hochleistungspolymere und Spezialchemikalien weltweit tätig ist und deren Gesellschaften in der EMS-CHEMIE HOLDING AG zusammengefasst sind, steigerte im ersten Halbjahr 2016 den Nettoumsatz um 3.7% und das Betriebsergebnis (EBIT) um 16.6% im Vergleich zur Vorjahresperiode.

Der konsolidierte Nettoumsatz erhöhte sich auf CHF 1'002 Mio. (966) und wuchs damit um 3.7% zum Vorjahr. Bei einer verhalten positiven Weltkonjunktur gelang es EMS, das innovative Spezialitätengeschäft kontinuierlich auszubauen. In allen Abnehmerbranchen konnte ein ansprechendes Wachstum erzielt werden.
