Halbleiterbauelemente müssen immer höheren Temperaturanforderungen widerstehen. Spezifikationen von -55?C bis 150?C sind in Automotiveanwendungen gebräuchlich und werden zunehmend in Industrieapplikationen verlangt. Der Burn-In Test hilft fehlerbehaftete Bauelemente auszusortieren und so die Qualität des Endprodukts zu sichern. Um die Prüflinge bei 150?C zu testen und zuverlässige Ergebnisse zu erhalten, muß das Testequipment für deutlich höhere Temperaturen spezifiziert sein. Auf diese Anforderung hin hat Ironwood Electronics einen neuen Sockel entwickelt , der ab sofort verfügbar ist. Federkontakte garantieren einen zuverlässigen Kontakt auch bei 180?C Umgebungstemperatur. Durch das Pindesign wird erreicht, dass selbst im obersten Temperaturbereich die balls nicht am Pin haften.
