Mit Einführung der 980 nm Laserdiode, bei einer Ausgangsleistung von 18 W, wird die bereits äußerst erfolgreich eingesetzte BAL Produktfamilie um einen Höchstleistungslaser ergänzt. Neben der Medizintechnik eignet sich die Laserdiode auch für Anwendungen in der Industrie und Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik.
