Mit den neuen preisgünstigen, unkomprimierten HD-Servern ClipRecorder XTreme HD und Xtreme HD SAN adressiert DVC den Postproduktion-Markt.

Der ClipRecorder XTreme HD ist ein umkomprimierter Digital Diskrecorder/Server für die Aufzeichnung, Speicherung und Wiedergabe von HD und SD Sequenzen. Der ClipRecorder XTreme HD kann sowohl im 4:2:2 (single-link SDI) wie auch im 4:4:4 Mode (Dual-link SDI) betrieben werden und speichert die Bilddaten nativ im NTFS Filesystem. Wie beim high-end Modell ClipRecorder XTreme 2k werden alle gängigen File-Formate wie dpx, cineon, tiff, yuv oder Quicktime unterstützt. Der wesentliche Unterschied zwischen dem XTreme HD und dem XTreme 2k ist die zusätzliche Möglichkeit zur Aufzeichnung und Wiedergabe in HSDL in Auflösung 2k beim ClipRecorder XTreme 2k.
