A fully automated production cell for the BOY 60 E

Neustadt, (PresseBox) - BOY will participate again with an automated production line at the Hannover Messe (April 7 - 11). At the joint booth of the innovation cluster Metal-Ceramic-Plastic (IMKK) of Rhineland-Palatinate in hall 006 / booth B 29, a new BOY 60 E will produce beer glasses out of completely transparent polycarbonate.

"With a very reliable powerful machine technology, we regard BOY as a competent partner who again and again impresses with new technologies," states Harald Schmillen, Managing Director of SME promotion in the district of Neuwied GmbH. He went on to express his pleasure about the participation of BOY, the company from Neustadt-Fernthal / district of Neuwied, at the Hannover Messe.

The BOY 60 E (600 kN clamping force), which was presented to the public for the first time during K 2013, replaces the BOY 55 E. The BOY 60 E is equipped with a higher clamping force and the multi-patented multi-touch Procan ALPHA ® 2 control. It will also be equipped with the newly developed, optional heating system named EconPlast, a unit that reduces energy consumption during plasticizing up to 50 %.

The BOY 60 E injection moulding machine with EconPlast technology achieves in combination with the servo-motor pump drive the energy classification 9+. BOY sets very high standards in the implementation of Euromap 60.1 which has been valid since 2013. Comparing the energy consumption of injection moulding machines, which became transparent through Euromap, helps users select and use the most efficient machines.

The glasses, which will be produced on the BOY 60 E, will be automatically removed from the mould and labeled by a laser that is provided by Bluhm Systeme GmbH, Rheinbreitbach / district of Neuwied, and then placed on a conveyor belt. Westerwald-Brauerei H. Schneider GmbH & Co. KG, the manufacturer of the popular Hachenburger beer and also a partner of IMKK at this year's Hannover Messe, will make sure that not every glass will remain empty...

The SME promotion in the district of Neuwied GmbH will organize the fifth joint booth at the Hannover Messe within the framework of the IMKK. Project Manager Lena Hergott is particularly excited about the live production in the booth as well as the successful cooperation of the companies from the region. The BOY exhibition team is well prepared for the IMKK booth during the five-day industry leading fair and is looking forward to your visit.
